Hi, I’m Ashton.

I’m the boudoir photographer behind Feral Fern and I’m so happy you’re here! If you’ve made it to this little corner of the internet, it most likely means you’re on a new journey of self love, and I cannot wait to be a part of that journey with you.

I’ve been a photographer for well over a decade and began a new season of boudoir photography after experiencing my own divorce. The low I was in was deep and I knew that self love and acceptance was going to be my only way out. I channeled that energy into my work and boudoir is really what saved me.

Society and the patriarchy have ground our self esteem down to nothing. When we look in the mirror we don’t look at ourselves with love and instead we pick apart every part that makes us who we are.

Boudoir is about coming home to yourself and seeing yourself in a way you’ve never seen yourself before. I love this work and I love helping women find the pieces of themselves they lost under all the toxic societal standards we were raised with.
